Went there a fair bit when I was at LSU. Always ordered the same thing. I don't think I paid the same price twice. It was always around 7.50 +/- like 30 cents. A few times there would be big outliers like when my order was only 5 something once.

It always wondered how they would get the price. My order was surprisingly correct the vast majority of the time, so it's not like they were getting my order wrong charging me for a wrong order.

Popeyes? Horrible fricking service?

C'mon. No way.

Every single time I've gone there I have been asked to drive up or park and wait until they bring my food out to me

Simple solution: Don't pull up. Gives them incentive to get your food out faster, and gives them no chance of forgetting you.

If you want them to prioritize your order in the order in which you placed it, stay at the window - it works wonders. Them, "If you will pull up to the line, we will bring it to you when it is done." You, "Since you didn't do that last time, I'll just stay right here."

That's a great idea.

A good way to get some arse chicken.

I actually had to back up into the drive-through window and tell them that I wasn't leaving until I got my order. I waited almost a half hour before I did that. My food was out the window in about 60 seconds.

Jesus man!! And I thought my experience was nightmarish.

Check for hair, spit and other foreign items if refuse to leave the driveup. Risky business.

The trick is to go inside for faat service.

I went to the Burbank location a couple months back to pick up a family box. Saw the line for the drive thru and decided to go inside. I was in and out before one car made it through the drive thru.

Get off your fat arse and go inside to place your order. Chat up the staff and you'll have them eating out of your hand before you know it.

This. If you go in and are standing in front of them, they're less likely to forget about you and your order. And if you do have to wait, most of the time they'll give you free stuff if you're polite--a drink, some biscuits, I've even got free extra chicken before.

I never go to the Popeyes near me for that same reason. It's not worth it for small overpriced chicken.

Government Street location has their act together too. I've never had to wait.

The Central location has run out of chicken several times. I don't understand this. How does Popeye's run out of chicken?

Government street is hit or miss. Especially if you are white. The one that was on Jefferson had great service, then they closed.

I always go inside and specify the pieces I want in a mixed box. Works fine at the Burbank location.

Also increases the likelihood they're gonna spit in your food.

It was absolutely the worst fast food experience I have ever gone through. I saw car after car go through the line and my food never came. To make matters worse, I had a 3 year old and 5 year old in the car with me (so I couldn't go inside and raise hell).

That store got my last dollar that day. I wish Popeyes actually gave a shite if I contacted corporate...but they don't. I'll have to stick with Albertsons chicken...which is underrated by the way.

LeBlanc's Frais Marche FTMFW.

Not your typical grocery store fried chicken.
