The people in line at Best Buy already, do they just not do Thanksgiving?

It's insane to me to wait out there all day and to already be there.

There was a guy at the Best Buy in Cbus, Polaris, yesterday camped out with a tent. I didn't think people still did this. I get all my deals online.

They must not know about the Internet because I can't think of another reason to do that

I guess time is not worth money to them. No amount of money "saved" would be worth that in my eyes. I put saved in quotation marks because if you are spending money, you certainly aren't saving it.

A lot of them are students. Not worth the trip home this close to the end of the semester and the money is nice.

When i was in retail we had the same people in line every year.

It was more of a ritual for them than getting the deals, they would buy something but not be inline for anything in particular.

That's what we did one year. We split up 6 people to 6 different stores to camp out and buy shite for everyone. This was way back before online shopping is as big as it is now. Now I don't even leave my house.

I'm a sucker for saving money, but standing in line for more than 5 minutes--even on a random Tuesday--to save even a couple hundred bucks doesn't make economic sense for me. Much less on a holiday. Trashy.
