At one time, I believe it was done to be different (like look at me!), but now since so many have gone that way, they probably resent that they got them. IMO, they are trashy.

I have over $10,000 invested in my sleeves. We aren't talking about dots of flash art either but custom work myself and my artists have collaborated on, sometimes for months. Most people that call tattoos trashy are either scared to get one themselves b/c a.) they don't think they can stand the pain or scared of the needle and are jealous, or b.) realize they aren't intelligent enough to pick something they'll want on their body forever.
A lot of tattoo work looks unoriginal and boring. Some work takes your breath away if you understand art and personality. I take people's breath away.

100% truth? I just picture myself in business or my side-piece at Easter service with my old German mom. Little red head sneering at Aubrey's strapless number and the strutting Flamingo tatt with a caption "we're all pink in the middle".
I just never pulled the trigger. Pretty simple image logic if I had to admit it.
