When did you become ok with resisting cops as acceptable?
Resisting arrest should not be a thing. I mean if one chooses to resist, man up & deal with the consequences.
Quit bitchin Karen.

This should not be a thing in the US, a supposed free country. The US should not be a police state in which you have to navigate encounters with police just right to avoid injury and death.

When did this become the mindset? When did this become okay? When did you become okay living in a police state?

This is all bullshite...the US is the most violent first world country and it’s not even close.

Yep. Disturbing the peace. They can slap on resisting arrest if they want too. Chances are it is your story vs multiple police.

The issues with our police departments isn't a black vs white issue. It impacts us all.

The cops don't see it as black vs white. They see it as US (Police) vs THEM (Citizens), and that's the root of the majority of problems with police.

Well, I'll have to remember that - A black guy can not be racist.

So basically gargle his balls when he asks. Amirite.

Another one with a neglected upbringing.

Let me simplify it for you that covers all aspects in life:

For the most desirable outcome when dealing with people, treat them in the same manner that you would like to be treated.

just curious why you don't seem to hold cops to the same standard?

You said “one main common” in consecutive order where any of those words would have sufficed.

It's always interesting to see the big time republican, small government, personal liberty, etc. folks swing 100% into authoritarianism.

Here's a question for those of you who think we should always do whatever any cop says. What would you do if the 2nd Amendment was repealed and the cops knock on your door and tell you to hand over any firearms you own?

And the fact that if they do something really fricked up, see Daniel Shaver, nothing even happens to them. That's the biggest problem with the police. They can do whatever the hell they want to without any repercussions a lot of the time.
