I do about 2-3 leagues every year, but you won't see my spend a whole lot of time on it to win a few hundred bucks in 4 months. It does make NFL more interesting. I wouldn't really watch the NFL otherwise

I love football. College and pro. Never got into fantasy.

Those who do play it don't bother me though.

I have a friend who is exactly how you described. He's in 8 leagues and is more devoted to it than his career during the season. It's pretty funny.

People actually buy this shite?

I play in 3 leagues. One auction league with a $60 entry fee, a keeper league with a $50 fee and a league called 'Big Money League' with an entry fee of $500.

It's something I enjoy doing, but anyone who looks through a bunch of stats and try to find out all the information they can... While reading who this guy thinks are sleepers or who that guy thinks will be a bust is nonsense.

I use an app call "Dominator". It cost $6 a year, but you put your league's scoring system in, it generates the rankings based on the scoring system. It has each team's depth chart, which you can sort by position and it gives you the current news on each player. But there are guys who come to the draft with magazines, printouts, etc. I just bring my ipad.

What's funny is he starts a thread ripping on people who play fantasy football right after posting that he himself wants to play with legos.

There is a lot of obtuseness ITT. People are pretending like workplace conversation isn't almost dominated by FF talk during the season.

The NFL has at least plateaued in popularity... but would be in very dire straits if not for FF.

It made people tune in to Bills vs. Jets to watch a kicker.

I've never played fantasy football. To each his own, but I just don't get the appeal.

I did join an adult football league where we play actual football. One practice and one game per week. Most of us are former high school and college players. I'd recommend it to all of you.

You mean the thread where I said I watched a Lego documentary and I jokingly said it made me want to put my life on hold to build shite with Legos? But then I said I have too much shite going on to do so?

Why are you so retarded?

It's fun if you are playing against your best friends year after year for a little money. I'm playing for the first time in 5 years this season just bc my little cousin desperately needed a 10th. Hoping to clean them out.

You recommended some pretty specific Lego builds...

putting together an e-team of alpha professional athletes and then watching their every move is quite the beta activity

shite looks cool. I have a degree in CE. I like building shite.

Unfortunately, there's no way I could justify spending a considerable amount of time with legos.

"I don't read, play piano, hang out with friends, travel, work out, or frick my wife anymore. Just legos and fantasy football."
