The link was provided by the other poster. You asked to be shown something that says NYC is number one in segregration. That was provided. Backpedal and goal post move all you like, you were given what you asked for. Where did I claim "the North is so much worse?" I didn't. But now that you mention it, in my 25 years of being married to a black woman, most of the racism we've encountered has been up here in the NYC metro area.
Bitch, you provided 1 link (actually you didn't). I gave you four refuting it.
I’m not backpedaling. I’m asking you to man up. And I never said that you, specifically, claimed that.
And now we come to the real reason you’re so emotional about it. Well, I can’t refute your anecdotal evidence.

That’s because it isn’t. It’s the mid atlantic

Lol. I'm not emotional at all, you're the one name calling. My lived experience trumps any of your backpedaling bullshite. So does the numerous linked studies that tell you that NYC is a racist, segregated place, more so than much of the south. Deal with it, Yankee arse kisser.

The Northeast is exactly how we think it is…
Possibly for the urban areas, but that's a big ole negative for the rural areas like the Connecticut River Valley of central Vermont where I am...this is gun and ganja country baby and I love it. Topped out at 71 degrees today, my indoor plants are flowering now and looking quite sticky while my outdoor are just about 6 ft tall and bushy. Also just picked up my new SIG AR-10 .308/7.62 this afternoon for my annual 4th of July addition to the collection and cannot wait to hit the range with it this weekend...which is located about 150 ft off my front porch here on my 50 acres. Country folk and hippie folk alike all get along and live in harmony working together as a community should...with respect. There are as many Trump and Lets Go Brandon flags as there are BLM and pride...and it is all good. Stand up for what you believe in, but at the end of day we are neighbors that have different preferences. That does not make us enemies. Regardless of ideology if your way of thinking is "my way is the only way" you are the problem regardless of location.

Connecticut capitol building had the pride flag flying above all other flags.

Eh. I'm pretty sure if people had to stay there for a length of time they'd share my opinion or at least understand it.

And I am pretty sure you are wrong. As a man born and raised in S La, grew up on surf fishing Grand Isle, catching spec's and shrimping out of Leeville, running crawfish traps out around Lake Verret and hunting that state from top to bottom. Have also lived throughout the south (SC,GA,NC} and have relocated to these beautiful Green Mtns of Vermont for the past 5 years...you are very wrong! You should consider the fact that your personal opinions are based on your own very limited personal experience. It is like you are saying this pizza isn't very tasty, but you only took a bite of a corner of the crust. You know...the whole walk a mile in another mans shoes kind of thing.

We took our honeymoon there in '04 and went back in '19. We fell love w/it the first time so much that we went back 15 years later. Burlington is a great town and Bristol is also a cute town.
Vermont is awesome

They are everywhere now, not just NE.
The divide is rural/urban today. Mobility spread the disease across the country.

In an effort to not kill myself, I’m trying my damndest to live my life. We already paid for the trip so we boarded the flight. Marriage counseling will wait until we get home. I am a civil person and we don’t argue, so it’s not a pain to be with my wife.[/quote]

You need your own reality show. I'd watch for a bit

Noticed exact same thing when I went a couple of years ago. We stayed at the Loews on Market St. Nice area but bums everywhere to the point of feeling insecure walking along downtown.
