BMW's upcoming M550i xDrive is silly quick–promising a sub-four-second 0-60 mph time. That means the top-dog M5 should be a sport sedan rocket. We're still a few months away from seeing the new M5, but a new rumor from BMWBlog suggests it'll run from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in around 3.5 seconds. Dang. BMWBlog says the upcoming M5's quick acceleration will come courtesy of a 600-horse twin-turbo V8 mated to a dual-clutch transmission. Like its main rival, the Mercedes-AMG E63, the next M5 will use an all-wheel-drive system with a mode that disengages the front axle for rear-drive operation. Yep, burnouts and drifting aplenty, at the push of a button.

I spoke to a guy with a new Tesla Model X. He actually bought it as his son's first car. They live in Hammond and he commutes to Jesuit every day. His son got in a fender bender and needs a hood and front bumper. Looking at up to 6 months to get the parts. He said when he was at the body shop and there were a few more cars just sitting with minor problems that had been there for months.

If you want the M5, what three years when you can get them for half price and just get the best extended warranty you can.

I wish BMW would stop making all their cars look exactly the same.

I used to love BMW, now they all just blend into one another. Will be nice when they add some creativity to their design again.
