My next vehicle will either be a Range Rover, Escalade, or LX 570. Really like this new style

Finally ditching the column shifter. Took them long enough
column shifters > console shifters
OT baws dont need more shite taking up space where we could be putting our two big gulps.

That shifter drives me nuts. Pushing up for reverse is not something I’m used too.
My wife has an XT-5. The shifter is odd for sure. I still frick up if I haven’t driven it in a while.

Looks nice. Paid less for my 2017 Tahoe LT and my 2019 Atlas S combined.

Yep. Column shift is better for space efficiency and road head.

Interior here is really nice, was wondering if they would respond to Lincoln upping their game on the Navigator.
Have an LX at home and while I love the build quality I don’t think the interior is quite on par from a luxury standpoint with some of these other offerings. Then again I haven’t had it to the dealership for anything but routine maintenance since purchase so I guess it’s all about what’s important to you.

The Lexus GX and LX are great cars that quite literally can run for 500K miles. Big knock is, they skimp REALLY hard on the interior. The materials, technology, etc... is really bare bones compared to most other luxury SUVs.
With that said, they're a tremendous value. Because of the lack of interior tech and materials, they are a great re-sale buy that will last a decade.

Friendly advice: Avoid the Rover. They are luxurious and have an incredible grip on the road, I'll give them that. They are hella unreliable and the service centers suck. Overpriced parts and very expensive hourly shop/repair rates. They will detail you car when you get a $350 oil change though.
All the rumors are true. They are unreliable. (I have owned two Rovers)

Trump economy, bro. $115K for an Escalade won't be out of the norm.

That's awful. Give me a couple of simple knobs and buttons. I ain't got time for all this touch screen bullshite to turn up the radio and the A/C

HVAC controls appear to be hard buttons in the lower center of the dash below the large screen.

Lots of car companies try this and pretty much always go back to physical buttons. Don't know why GM did that.

Ridiculous...
Sort of. This dealership builds using the popular aftermarket parts that most people want; it’s not a bunch of cosmetic shite thrown on. Will that LC sell for close to what they have it listed for? Who knows. But there is likely 1 person out there that wants a Heritage with dissent bumpers, air lockers, etc and would rather buy it completed.

The physical knobs for the HVAC are extremely nice. And the volume control on the steering wheel should be the only one you use anyway.

I’ll trade it in before 40k miles so I’m not worried about long term reliability

All 3 of Cadillac's sedans (CT4, CT5, and CT6) are rear wheel drive. They are all very nice.
Did not know this. I thought all the Big 3 companies did away with RWD on all cars back in 2013 or so
