You get to decide that for yourself. You can't dictate a universal rule for how everyone else should feel.

Yes, you get to decide what it means to you.

The irony, is this is what you're doing. You don't like what the N word means. Therefore you are trying to change the meanng so that it's no longer seen as racist.

So using Er is proof of racist intent against an entire race? Are there any legal cases on this?
Well, for one, this isn't a legal issue. But, yes, using Er is basin proof of racist intent against an entire race. You don't believe me, when's the last time you saw a white person call another white person the N word?

You can be on Team Somalian-pedo-at-the-park. Big win for you.

While not trying to get into this pissing contest.....it seems to be that a word ending in A is not as bad as that same word ending in ER.
Perhaps people who get so bent out of shape over a word should go to the U.K. where people can get jailed for using words. People who get that upset over a word (especially one that is so frequently used) are obviously mentally deficient and probably need adults to cut their meat.

You do realize that this right here is why people don't give a shite anymore, and why your little word has lost all power, right?

From another thread on the first page of the OT. This woman is in local government and openly racist. And social media isn’t crying about it and issuing death threats. This is why I don’t care about a mean word anymore. We’re past caring.

I mean, Chris Rock did a famous bit about this 30 years ago. If you don’t understand this, then you haven’t been around many black people.

I guess it might not be easy for you to wrap your head around, but the perspective of many white folks is being shite on constantly, accused of inherent unatonable racism at birth, blamed for centuries-old sins as well as the current condition of minority communities, made fun of, slurred, fleeced for entitlement programs, shunned throughout institutions and the corporate world (DEI), and constantly bearing witness to revolting racial double standards in our culture. We just had a sitting member of Congress state publicly that white men are "radicalized" and should be "feared" and profiled. We hear shite like this every day. Imagine of this were said about blacks?
As more and more people begin to wake up to the fact that we are ALL being played by political culture warriors trying to divide us, there is inevitably going to be a fatigue that sets in.... a frustration. I'm not condoning what this woman said. She should have kept her head. I just think people see the machine try to destroy her life forever for using a word, while people like Karmelo Anthony are lauded in the black community, is indicative of the frustrations above.

You don't get to decide that, though. Different words mean different things to different people. That's just how language works.
Tell that to Morgan wallen who called his white friends the soft N at his own house and got railed for being a racist.

Let you in on a little secret: blacks aren’t offended by the N-bomb. At all. It’s just a weapon to use to intimidate and cow whites.

All the time. Especially the younger crowd.

This is a weak excuse to justify your ulterior motives. The “they made me do it” excuse is immature. You’re adult and openly admitting to choosing poor behavior because of elementary level understanding of the world around you
You must have missed the whole black kid murdering a white kid and every black person defending the murderer. Like they always do.
Everyone knows what dindu means because it's part of black culture in this country.
Maybe black people need to start acting like adults and not murder people over words.

People are defending this white woman not bc she’s classy but bc we are tired of the racial shite and tired of the double standards. It’s a push back against the wokesters.
Good god what has the OT become.

This is what happens when you try to insert yourself into something that you don't even understand.
But no, at no point during that bit was he ever referring to black people with the Hard R. At no point was he using the word in reference to how white people would call us in racist times.
