police officers
hedge fund managers

There's certainly more than a few of those that do no favors to their profession.

The common link behind those two professions is to almost always stand behind their guy, to the point of dragging down the whole profession.

If you're an executive at a tobacco company (e.g. Phillip Morris), you're basically seen as Satan to a large segment of the population. Even with the huge paychecks the receive, that's a job I don't envy.
