Darwinism works overtime during that race

They should do this once a year on the Natchez Trace.
Trace would be easy it’s fairly flat and straight

This is my favorite Isle of Mann TT video. Unreal what these guys do.

First person video , but not the TT.
First response, best response:
"I put my helmet on while watching this video just to keep safe."

Man I bet full open throttle on a straightaway through a city on a motorcycle is fricking exhilarating.

It's like something out of Speed Racer, or another anime.

His name is Connor Cummins, he not only survived but he raced on.

Reminds me of Road Rash 64

And it's only 444 miles. They would leave Nashville, refuel in Natchez, and be back in Nashville before lunch

I love racing, in pretty much every form, but this shite is just too much.
It’s like watching those videos of people climbing skyscrapers and cranes. Makes me uneasy

You want to tell us where it is? What fricking island?

I remember seeing a similar video last year at this time. Those dudes don’t like it when another rider passes them!

The Flying Doctors were the coolest part to me.

The island is called the Isle of Man. The island itself is in the Irish sea, between Great Britain and Ireland.

the English Channel
I get that it was a joke (of sorts), but just to point out for the geographically-challenged, the Isle of Man in in the Irish Sea, not the English Channel.

Traveling to see The Isle of Man TT is on my bucket list. It has to be a hell of an experience.

You think the TT is mad. What I have to introduce to you is tamer these days, but a decade or so ago it use to be insane.
Let me introduce you to Mad Sunday. It's when they let the general public loose on the TT course.

Anyone else here track motorcycles? Managed to graduate to intermediate last year because they felt sorry for me.
Seriously though, those TT guys are on another level. Sure, there are more talented riders in motogp, but do they have the balls?
I use to, did WERA and track days two decades ago. I survived and don't ride as much since kids. I always enjoyed being an idiot on the road more though. Spent several years as a local to US129 and all the roads in that area. Definitely will get back into it and do more Long Way style trips when the nest is empty.
Mad Sunday is a bucket list I will do.
