re: The Mormon Church Is Stepping Up Their Recruiting Game

I went out there for about 10 mins to see if I could see them going door to door and I didn't see them. They must have already been down the other street that I can't see down, from my house.

But the one that did the talking was actually a ginger. She had red hair (not super red, it was light red), with a green top.. And now that I am thinking about it, they she must have been hot because it was a green long sleeve thing, over a dress (long dress, but it wasn't like a little house on the prairie type dress) and a bag thing over one shoulder.

The other one, I could only see when they were leaving. She had blonde hair, with the same type of dress, but different colors and one of those bags. She wasn't fat by any means, but she probably hasn't missed too many meals lately.

Over the years I have seen many male missionaries. This was the first time I have seen female.. But unlike the males, they didn't have on uniforms so I could have seen them in the past and wasn't able to ID them as missionaries.

I have to say, I never looking at it this way. Honestly, it really is admiral for someone to have such strong faith that they are willing to go around the world, knocking on peoples doors to share what they believe.

But I still think it is much bigger than that and while the people who are going around to spread their message has good intentions, I think it comes down to religions wanting to expand their numbers. If they can get just a few more people... let's say.. every year, from different areas, that's making them stronger. And the more people you have, the more money that comes in and with more money, the more than can be done to expand.

And I think there is a level of disrespect to some degree, as well. I can see how some people can see it as them saying "our religion is the right religion and we want you to hear our message". Because, every religion thinks they are "the right religion".

When you think of attractive Europeans, people think of the statuesque beauty of the Baltic peoples or the exotic beauties of the the medeterrainian or the sultry sexiness of the French and Slavs.

As to physical prowess, that again is dominated by the Baltic groups

I watched something on the opioid epidemic and evidently opioid addiction is much higher in Salt Lake City than people would realize and the majority of people addicted are women.

While I don't remember the details, it has to do with how Mormons live a much more "traditional" life.. Husband works, wife stays home and raises kids... One woman said she became addicted after all of her kids were in school. She had some type of surgery and she was prescribed pain meds and she took them for a longer period than she should have and said that when her youngest kid went to school she started taking more during the day, than she normally did..

I don’t believe what Mormons believe but they are some of the nicest most respectful people. Have they changed their approach? I rarely ever see the guys on bicycles around anymore.

I've had limited experiences with LDS people, but when they've come in to restaurants I've worked at, they've always been nothing but pleasant.

I don't think a Mormon should ever lead the country (too believing of curious stories), but they are truly helpful to people who are struggling to find purpose in life.

Every religion is curious stories to someone else. Mormons stand out because their stories are relatively new.
