A 14-year-old boy was shot in the leg in the St. Roch neighborhood when the gun he was carrying in his waistband fired as he was running away from police Wednesday morning (July 18), according to New Orleans police. Two witnesses said they noticed a group of five teenage boys hanging outside in the 2400 block of Urquhart Street shortly after 10 a.m. The boys were taking photos of themselves and each other with guns, according to the two witnesses, who called the police to report the young teens carrying weapons.

Too bad he didn’t stick it in the front of his waistband. Might have got him in the groin and prevented him from breeding more like him.

Lessons learned: When you steal a gun, steal the instructions and the holster too. If the cops are chasing you and you're carrying your stolen gun, remember that the gun will be evidence against you and throw it away.

Can’t even keep their pants up half the time and yet they’re trying to carry guns in their waistband too? Do they even know where their waist located?

Yeah, remember the FBI agent that did a back flip on the dance floor?
His gun fell out and he accidentally shot someone.

Reason number 1,546,346 running from the police is the wrong action to take.

If I were NOPD, this is the call I would not want to take. You have to go but you know damn well if you end up shooting one of these idiots in self defense you are fricked for life. There is no winning that situation. I might consider pulling up half a block away and getting on the PA system in the car. “Hey you rascally kids! You drop those guns right now or else!” Dang. They got away Headquarters.

Zero fricks given. To bad he didn't blow out his femoral artery.
