I work hard, but nobody cares about that.

Tell me more about your life experiences, Corch.

Don’t sit here trying to call others uneducated when you literally are slave labor dude. Anybody can do your job with the slightest bit of training. We all been 18 and worked in a plant. Some just grew up and did more in life.

Look at this liar, who denies his own race pretending that plant work is beneath him....

You have an SLU degree, you would be lucky to work in a plant.

The only way a study could show morals are not in decline is by ignoring the fact things that have been viewed as immoral since antiquity are no longer viewed as such.

What our culture considers to be pedophilia was accepted practice in ancient Greece and Rome. Slavery has been illegal for less than 200 years.in most of the world. Aggressive conquest of stronger countries by weaker countries was the normal and accepted practice until the middle of the last century.

answer the other part don’t ignore boy.

You have a whole board who unanimously thinks you are stupid AF. You can’t even back up anything you say. You are a Buffon.

The whole world thinks that Roger is stupid.
Practically everyone on the board is racist, except you, of course.
You keep spitting about your education versus the lack of education of others, but you can’t seem to grasp that pointing out two related facts isn’t an attempt at justifying either. One can agree that both happened AND that both are wrong. You seem to be coming more unhinged with each post.

Okay. I've never set foot in a plant but you can continue your narrative if you want, I don't mind.

Given the extreme rarity of lynchings even in the south, and the fact that 27% of lynchings were of whites, I'm not willing to admit that lynching was wrong. The logical conclusion is that lynchings were justified punishments for rapists and murderers. If whites were just going around killing blacks for no reason why did they kill so few of them and why did they kill so many white people too?

Morality changes.

Its impossible to judge past eras using todays values and not realize that tomorrows values will render todays morality to be archaic and brutal.

Ironically most harm has been done under the guise of doing good.

The Bible mentions all the vices that people tend to view with moral decline, so they all occurred in the good old days. The difference is that some people want to celebrate all the vices, and in fact want to normalize them. The out of hand instant media available to every person has made the situation much worse, so it’s easy to perceive a moral decline. The world was generally viewed as a better place when the skeletons remained in the closet instead of being celebrated by the vocal minority.

Because that was done as an act of normalcy under normal circumstances. You’re a fricking idiot. It was an extreme act used in extreme circumstances.
Terrorizing black children was a rather extreme act, yes, almost totally normalized during its time.

Youre right, we should have shipped all the black people back home when slavery ended.

We could have saved them so much pain over the years. They would definitely be better off back in Nigeria or Ghana.

Anyone yearning for the good old days should go back in time to the 70s.

Rampant pollution, crime, inflation and unemployment. Unwinnable war for part of it. Airline hijackings were like a weekly occurrence.

But the greatest travesty was the clothes.

The inverse is also true: things that were previously considered highly moral, like spraying little black children with fire hoses, is now significantly frowned upon. I don't know how you're inclined to view the grand scale of morality, but I'm happy to trade "we no longer lock people in cages for being gay" for "we no longer brutally murder people because of the color of their skin."

On second thought, both of those things seem like improvements...

Now the "little black children" frequently go unpunished for gathering in mobs to loot and beat up people.

You must be absolutely thrilled about that.

A democrat must have wrote that. They probably believe in climate change also. Moral decline is getting worse each and every day. Common sense also.

I think you managed to have an utter non-sequitur AND moved goalposts at the same time. Did you eat some datura seeds?
