Happens all the time in war yet we excuse it.
Slavery occurs in war, we excuse that too.

Who's "we"?
Whether society excuses it or not isn't really relevant to my point that some things are inherently immoral.

In times of survival, values and morals are viewed much differently.
The only people struggling to survive today are addicts and sick people.

Yet there's people that struggle for survival and don't randomly kill people. There's something keeping them from doing that beyond basic survival instincts.
Again, my only point is there's certain things I believe are inherently immoral. Whether people or society excuse it doesn't really matter in my view.

This is where stupid Democrats post a dumb article and when called out, pretend to be trolling.

If your life depended on it, you would.
And you would think it moral. 100 years ago people still struggled to find enough food to put on the table. You cannot judge morality with a shifting lense.

I don’t get it. Do you think that you’ve made us look foolish for discussing morality?

This is where people without self awareness post who are convinced the world is going to shite, just like the people before them, ad infinitum.
World's getting better all the time!

Nah, I would do it knowing it's immoral.
I never said I was a moral person

who are convinced the world is going to shite,
Its not, just most of the American population.
Most of the world is saner than we are. However they are getting dumber.

Americans’ IQ scores are trending in a downward direction. In fact, they’ve been falling for over a decade.
Since the 90s, objectively we are dumbing down.

Despite statistics and headlines declaring that more young people are going to college than ever before, our collective IQ scores are on the decline

The minute you say "morality is subjective" you lost your case. Murder is immoral, stealing is immoral, adultery is immoral. Violating an OSHA regulation concerning the height of toe boards in office of more than 250 people is subjective, the Ten Commandments are pretty clear.

Roger's cognitive dissonance is actually being peer reviewed at the moment. It's fascinating at times

And I'm sure you can see the difference between that and just randomly killing someone for fun.
One can be argued as moral where the other can't.

I disagree. Morality has definitely shifted over time, and it inarguably is different from culture to culture.

Absolutely.
I was just pointing out that everything can be subjective when it comes to morality.
What I find interesting about this topic is that "Values clarification" and shifting moral compass were left wing staples until just a few years ago.
But here, we have leftists and right wingers arguing that morality and values are objective.
Just goes to show most people will change their perspective in response to their tribe.

I’m certain their “peer review “ is made up of degenerate pedophile loving democrats like themselves.
