The entire house buying process is a joke. Never experienced a more unorganized mess from top to bottom, from the realtors, to the title company, to the bank.

For those mortgage shopping, whatever you do, don’t go to Cap One.

I think using any large company to get a mortgage is stupid. I tried to use Bank of America b/c I’m a BAC shareholder and my mortgage guy was weapons grade stupid. He almost lost the house for us. We had to delay the closing 2 weeks and close with an independent mortgage company

Don’t get me started on inspectors. What a racket they run. RE agents colluding between each other to get a sale done vs actually representing their clients is the biggest scam in the USA right now

Was about to post this as well. I’m not sure what the inspector did, but he missed a ton of easy stuff that anyone with brains should see. But he found that outlet missing a plate in the attic though!

So you are pissed because one of the biggest (if not the biggest) investments a person could make is not a fast enough process for you? What a bitch you must be. I’ll agree some of the so called professionals involved do not help the process, but have some realistic expectations

And learn to write coherently.

If the writing is an indication, the problem may be in lack of ability to understand simple concepts.

How many shares does one need to hold for this to guide their decision?

You should be happy it takes that long. If it’s rushed and shite hits the fan a day or two before closing then you’re really fricked. You also sound like a huge pussy.

The old “I just talked to the other agent and they have two other highly interested buyers so are you sure you don’t wanna go full asking?”

If the selling agent tells your buyer's agent that they have 2 other offers, should your agent withhold this information from you?

If your agent merely said "are you sure you don't want to go full ask?" and didn't present other others for enhancing your offer or going in a different direction, you chose a shitty agent.

I've done close to 300 deals and can safely say I've never colluded with another agent. You increasing your offer on a house by $7,500 would gross me another $225. I don't blow up deals for a couple hundred bucks.

Just lol if you attempt to contribute at all to any of this. I mean, all the professions involved from start to finish are hardly respectable, so I don't know why I ever expect anything but a group of self hating snails, but frick, at least have a little dignity in your career. It's not a good way to go through life. 2 weeks to a month time frame to close was the same span it took to accomplish in the early 1900s.

What are the main hobbies of these people? I've never met some title office signer or appraiser dipshit that does anything outdoors with all that free time.

No one notices you got your Sebring detailed, but your shortcomings as a sub par person with limited talents arent going unnoticed by society.

Felt good to get all that out. Thanks for reading.

The process could be done in 1-2 days if these sloths really wanted it make it happen. There's never been any issues in any of my encounters with buying or selling a house, I just think the people involved have a lazy, pathetic existence that I would like to limit my interaction with down to days instead of weeks.

Hope that helps

Won't argue that. Can't imagine dating one of those people though. Good luck.

Dude it's great. she's way more organized and plans stuff out way better than me.
Her only OCD tic that bothers me is her laundry process and how she flips out if she doesn't get a receipt.
