The highest-IQ fields are dominated by men, the lowest by women.

I don't see the hardest job in the world listed----a Mother.

Yet women will still complain about a wage gap despite choosing markedly lower paying jobs

Is it mildly concerning that the dumbest people around are teaching our young children?

Unfortunately, you don't need a degree for that.

Study is 20 years old. I'd be interested to see how the male to female ratio has changed in the stem fields since then. And if so, has the average IQ of those fields changed as well?

its not when you consider the things they are teaching are the least important basic human functions of learning. I dont want to discredit the Elementary Educators because they also deal with a lot more external pressure than most.

2nd highest ranked that is female dominated - Anthropology and Archeology.
Archeology - harnessing women's innate ability to dig up the past.

If i had a shitty degree id more likely be unemployed than the female. they also have a better opportunity at obtaining said shitty degree.

The highest iq women are stay at home moms
Also women that have to work do it because they weren’t hot enough to find a real man that makes enough to where they don’t have to work

But they deserve equal pay to men regardless.

Women can show their buttholes on Only fans and make more than anyone on that list, so maybe they should be listed number one with that profession.

quote:For sure the ratio has changed. Anecdotally, when I was in industrial engineering I took an assortment of classes in each engineering discipline, and it seemed like the male to female ratio was pretty high in mechanical, electrical, and I guess chemical, with industrial and biological engineering having a lower male to female ratio. I think those two engineering fields have more medical and business (human-related) applications respectively than the others, and that’s probably why.

Surprised accounting is that low. Not something that would be easy for dumb people.

Are they including MDs in the "health and medical science" field?
That's probably an overly broad category that includes a bunch of medically related professions, like nursing and research positions.

I think these are overly broad professional categories. So a CPA would be lumped in with an accounting clerk.
