Feeling a little helpless. Mom's alone at her house. She lives behind VC so not bad flooding, but I feel like I should be there.

Lee Drive? Good to know. I need to get to my place on Perkins/Kennilworth if possible and I can either take Lee or Kennilworth from Highland/Lee. If you Lee is getting better instead of worse, I'll go. Otherwise, I don't want to risk it.

Which street if you don't mind me asking? Should be ok I would think ... I run on St. Mary, St. Paul, Gauraud, Old Kaplan Highway ... if you think she may need help call the fire sub station that is right near there. Can't remember that street name though.

I'm sure this is a very stupid question, that has been answered already in the thread but I'm just checking in, is it AT ALL possible to get from Covington to baton rouge? And if so what route would be usuable? It's quite urgent. Need to get to Sherwood area.
Thanks for input

Kenilworth was fine around 10:30. But the area up by the softball fields was really flooded, the road was still passable though.

Anybody have any news about the Hatchell rd area of Denham? I've been hearing conflicting reports that the water is going over the east side of hatchell

Ah okay. I'd be taking Kennilworth at Highland all the way down to Perkins, so nevermind.
I will wait it out or take Lee if I find out Lee is okay. The cat is in a room upstairs with no windows open (power is shut off), so I don't want to leave him up there too long, but he should be okay for now.
