I'd do Lamar Dixon if you can. That's where people being taken right now are going. They said on the news last night that the existing shelters have more jambalaya than they even know what to do with.

Did you notice any water on any roads in or around Dutchtown?

I'm in Dutchtown now. Everything where I'm at is ok for now. I'll ride check on old Dutchtown in a few and let you know.

Thanks, I'm in Nicholson Lakes trying to monitor and it appears the areas between us Spanish Lakes are getting water. But as I am now reading here it could have been a lot worse...

I drove on 74 from old mill to 30 about 2 hours ago. Looked like water on the right side of 74 starting around Oak Alley was getting close to spilling ok to 74.

Everything on the other side of 73 looked good though.

yeah, i dunno much but assumign they can set up on high ground very near a disaster area will have plenty of people coming in to swoop in a nice meal, leo, firefighters, rescuers all included.

Looks like the water has gone down enough for my parents to assess the damage at Torrey Pines trailer park. They are heading over there now. I feel sick to my stomach right now as I await a phone call from them for the extent of the damage there.

Already have confirmation from another poster that has family there.....looks like there had been about 2 feet of water in their trailer and the stairs had been lifted away and floated off.

So if anyone else had family living in Torrey Pines...it's safe to go there now to assess damage
