Bayou Manchac at airline is really high. I think airline hwy is safe from flooding but all of the areas lower than the highway are flooded.

Well all I can tell you is that there is a live traffic cam that shows water on airline around Highland. It is significantly higher than it was yesterday afternoon. I don't think it is shut down yet though and am unsure if it is still rising

Areas east of Hwy 30 in Bayou Paul area (St. Gabriel) need to get out now! Per wafb.

My parents live back there and are headed to my place in Nola.

Bayou Manchac is still going up around the interstate. It is slowing it's increase and will probably top out at around 6 additional inches.

There is a drone video of Bellingrath Lakes in Central. Does anyone have the link? Thanks.

I know I've seen Joe Sevario mentioned a good bit on here. Some family live at Moody Dixon/Joe Sevario, got in by pirogue at 6 last night and raised some stuff up and got some belongings, but does anyone know if/how much the water rose there since 6 last night?

He's talking about Magnolia Lakes and Pelican Lakes across from Lakeside daiquiri on burbank

Burbank has standing water where it turns into Siegen / Highland but a sedan can pass through it FYI

Can anyone let me know if I should expect any issues getting to EBR this week via eastbound I-10? Likely Friday or possibly Saturday. Thanks and best wishes to those dealing with this situation.

Water is definitely coming up. That has to be 5-10ft deep now

Yes there is. It is only about 2ft higher than the level of the swamp though

I don't think anyone can answer that for sure right now. Nobody knows how long it will take for all this water to recede, and DOT still has to inspect all the bridges in the area to make sure they're ok to drive. They've already said the interstates could be shite down for weeks, but hopefully that doesn't happen.

Where is there a need for a boat? Trying to find out where to go, I've called ascension, EBR. They drop the call. I'm off of hoo shoo too right now ready to go. Where is there a need?
