We got 16 horses out to Lamar that were in danger. The rest in a high pasture. The neighborhood pitched in and adopted us for the night. Water still coming up here, though

That's the front part of Santa Maria and I'm in the back. I know Arcadian Shores near Splyglass was really taking in water. Santa will get hit with a double whammy bc one side we have bayou manchac and the other side is wards creek. I believe southern hills is on the wards creek side not bayou manchac.

Back

Water at Highland/Burbank/Siegen continues rise slowly.

Burbank and Highland still dry, water accumulation at bottom of hill starting to move into both lanes.

Albertson water is down to Tecco office entrance.

It all seems to be coming from storm drains on that stretch of bluebonnet.

Here is the weird part, Burbanks fields look like they have dropped a bit, however the ditch that runs along burbank on the taco bell side seems to be rising.

Any updates in Briarwood Subdivision, specifically briarlake avenue in the back along the lake? Lake was rising yesterday into backyards

Interesting that it is still rising at Santa Maria and Burbank/Highland/Siegen.

This observation that you are making most closely matches the river gauge:

I can't stay up any longer, but I would not be surprised if the area floods through the morning hours. I would also not be surprised if it just sits and stagnates.

I hope I've been of help to a lot of people during this event and ordeal. I also hope I wake up to most of you dry tomorrow morning.

Thank you so much, Impotent, for the help! I'm sure if you feel like staying up, others will be interested in what you've got to report. Otherwise, meet you on the other side of sleep and we'll talk tomorrow about where we stand!

I could kiss you! :nohomo:

I reluctantly left my place around 5:30 or so in the Lakes to stay at my other place in Lakeside (I need to get away from these lakes). Your report is the first encouraging news that Elmer T. Lee and me have had all night. Fingers crossed I'm ok so I'll have a place to put up at least some of my displaced friends.

I hope so man..my office is right there and my condo that I lease out is in lakes @bluebonnet. I'm running on adrenalin been up over 24 hours straight. From running out to help my family members out in the Flannery area ( mom and 3 sisters lost everything ) to running back to my house in Santa Maria, to checking on my business and office near ..it's definitely been a hell of a 24 hours. Stay safe fellas, and thanks for keeping me updated as well.

Yeah its kinda strange, I have been using the pavallion and closed sign at the entrance as guides. I had to do a double take, not a significant drop but noticeable.

That stretch of Bluebonnet btw Burbank and Highland is concerning. That intersection seems to be acting like the Burbank/Highland intersection did this afternoon and earlier tonight.

Its almost as if the water flowing the correct way is slowly hitting a wall leveling out.

Just got this message:

I've been in contact with a friend who has been stuck on airline for 5 hours. She just passed the intersection at airline and highland. The flooding is very high and cars are going through one at a time while police monitor each as they pass. Hope the info helps!
