Walkons had several feet of water and the level looked pretty high in front of Academy. I bet alot of Juban Crossing will be in ruin.

Yes, it is the area of backflow. Maybe not running away from the Amite (cannot know until someone goes look), but slowly emptying into and thus backing up. It's kind of like having a firehose shot at a funnel. It's still flowing "through" the funnel but it's backing up.

Any update on the neighborhood at Vignes Rd by Hoo Shoo Too? Can't reach family over there. Jefferson was closed so I couldn't get through.

Camelot update
I live on lancelot on the west side of camelot, and we are close to having water in the house. We are about 10 ft from the last dry spot in the front yard and we are on the front porch

Dad just called from a strange cell number. "Pick me up on millerville". I said how did you get there! He says "a coonass with a boat who won't take my 10$". I asked to talk to the coonass and managed a "thank you" through tears. He just said "yes ma'am".

Goddammed amazing. Love BR.

I'm going to agree with mikeD here. Im no expert either but it seems like there are many more places for the water to go than the bayou fountain route

If it is rising at Siegen and Highland but not at Bluebonnet and Highland it must be spilling over and flooding somewhere. My best guess: The giant field at Burbank Park - Anyone in that area?
