Aspercel, where are you located? My horses are on 42 and I'm getting worried. Barn owner is on site and said no news is good news but still worried

just heard from my daughter over by George O'Neal and Jones Creek Rd.; they don't have electricity, but cell service is back...they are dry, but said they can't get more than 1/2 mile in any direction...

The Great Flood of 2016: Backwater Flooding Occuring (8/14/16)
The water is clearly rising esp around Siegen and Highland
Please keep updating us on this area - this is the first warning anyone on bayou fountain will have.
I live right nearby in Oak Hills. I've driven through that intersection several times today. I'll go check it out again before dark.

My house is just below i12 at Walker. We evacuated but still don't have water in our house. I'm seeing this water creep up to that barrier wall from the north. Good god I hope it holds bc if it doesn't Everyone down there is fricked and the national guard isn't recusing anyone else down there.

hopefully we will get a lot more input now from people who haven't had cell service.

Someone wanted a map of where the interstate cam was. It is where the red X is. Currently, we have a TD user reporting that waters are rising at Siegen and Highland (blue X)

Word is the Spanish Lake/Manchac levee was over topped. Not a huge deal, not like unusual
This happened a while ago, but i just saw a first hand video and it looks as if the road (levee) is beginning to erode and tear away. Not good for those to the south.

Yep, Woodstock . I think it rose a little after but I just got word that it only got to the garage. A lot of people in there did get water though.
