I went and drop a few bags of clothes off. With less than a 24 hour notice, they filled up 4 box trucks. Received 25k bags of clothing. Great to see the surrounding communities come together and help everyone out.

The final cars are crossing I-10 as the Manchac floods over it. Still rising.

Here is the lake at Keystone of Galvez as of 438. Water is flowing towards the bridge (towards the park).

I know. I see those trailers every time I drive past there. Stored for what purpose? Could they be cleaned up and used now?

here I was worried we wouldn't be able to sell because people would be moving out of BR plummeting the market

Think about where they would move: Livingston? Ascension? Central? Zachary?

They've all seen flooding....and people are too afraid of the bridge to move west.

I think it will be hard to sell a damaged house but undamaged or repaired homes will come at a premium. That's typical after something like this happens. People will repair their homes and, for the most part, things will return to normal within 6-8 months.

Galvez Oaks, we had to pass through that to come to the MIL's. There was zero water there at 6 am. It's coming up out of nowhere really quick.

Multiple Streets are flooding and I checked some storm drains and it's rising up there. Creek is close to overflowing.

Def a risk of backwater flooding
