How's claycut bayou by Jefferson Terrace?

Still good. Maybe three streets with water on them in front of neighborhood and none in homes.

Bayou manchac at I-10 seems to be rising faster now
It took it 3-1/2 to 4 hours to get to that point on the cameras. I watched them the entire time. I think that is a moderate rise at best.

just saw a brief piece on WDSU of Gov GBE speaking. Looks like he dusted off his Boy Scout uniform for this one.

Just the opposite for you

Since your property survived this great flood it is more valuable.

You have to host them on a site like imgur and then press the link button here and paste the URL.

here I was worried we wouldn't be able to sell because people would be moving out of BR plummeting the market

Think about where they would move: Livingston? Ascension? Central? Zachary?

They've all seen flooding....and people are too afraid of the bridge to move west.

I think it will be hard to sell a damaged house but undamaged or repaired homes will come at a premium. That's typical after something like this happens. People will repair their homes and, for the most part, things will return to normal within 6-8 months.

Well.. if any of you are in the market for a house in a neighborhood of young professionals (retirees, professors, etc), let me know!

As Manchac continues to rise I can only imagine the problems in the tributatries like Bayou Fountain will get worse.

I agree that it didnt seem to be rising very quickly from 1:30 to around 4, but over the last hour it seems to have increased significantly

You do realize that manchac doesn't crest until 1AM right?

And I-10 is already way upstream from manchac. I would say that is rising quickly for being so far out from the highest crest we will see
