Other people know about this? I always thought my dad invented "weenie stew" and loved that stuff growing up. Made it for my own kids one day and NONE of us liked it.

As a kid I credited all my Saturday sports heroics to drinking cereal milk. That power packed liquid of goodness gave me what I needed to jump higher and run faster. How else could I have: hit three home runs, run , catch and throw for four touchdown, and score 25 points and snatch 10 boards, all by 1pm on a crisp fall Saturday.

Does no one know how to pour just enough milk? Just enough to cover what you have and leave very little at the end.

Always drank the milk afterwards, now I like my cereal dry and have since I was in my early 20's! Sometimes I'll mix fruit or yogurt but just ate a big bowl of, (Cascadian Farms Cinnamon oats,sp?) It's organic Cinnamon Cheerios with oats, tastes too good to be really healthy ??

The Big Bang version was common in the US as a youth when "Eye Talian" food was served. Howard Johnson's Spaghetti & Meatballs was considered fine dining by the average American in the post WW II Era.
