But this is true at all levels of public voting and input.

Why are they calling half the city racists because of where they live? Why don't they want these people to vote?
Maybe they are just looking out for SG's best interests. Happens all the time, you know, politicians looking out for other peoples' best interests and not their own.

What's funny is the people posting that BR doesn't receive money from the unincorporated area are actually posting in a thread who's first post has a link to the advocate. That link outlines the council meeting where they discussed trying to lock down said money for ten more years.
Amazing to me.

It explains the only positive EBR influx being in the college age demographics (17-22).
Kids from outside of EBR tend to live on or near campus to go to school.

What's amazing is your reading comprehension skills because I said doesn't receive THAT MUCH money from the unincorporated area. I never said no money or little money. People are here trying to say that SG couldn't survive on a per capita basis because they don't have enough money and yet in the same breath say that SG money taking out of the city budget would be a disastrous effect on BR. The only way this would be possible is if BR didn't have enough money to run its ship right now. If that was the case then they wouldn't have the triple A (AAA) rating they currently have.
