The frequency of satellites passing above our homes is getting a bit concerning.

I’m out watching for “shooting stars” from Perseids and saw 5 satellites with my unaided eye in 20 minutes. That seems a bit much. If it were 5 helicopter's/airplanes it would be too much. What say you?

I had every intention of making a joke about this but I googled it and there are 11,000+ satellites up there right now which admittedly does seem like a lot

I would think that his satellites, once in orbit, would be too small to see with the naked eye?

Imagine if Elon was putting up weapons that could be used to attack earth in some way or destroy other satellites disguised as internet for all.

Last November, laying on my back at 9pm on a clear night at about 9,000 feet in Colorado very far from any civilization, I vividly remember being mind blown by the amount of orbital traffic. There's a shitload of man-made shite up there.

Everything good needs replacing. Look up, look down, look all around.

The first time I camped above 8k feet on a clear night, it was mind blowing how many satellites were visible with no visual assistance. It still is mind blowing, but that’s a moment I’ll never forget. They were everywhere in the sky.

I'm sure most of it is, but at the right time of night with no light pollution it's amazing what you can see.

That’s not really that much. I’m assuming you have a lot of light pollution. A lot more passed over you than 5 in 20 minutes. In a remote location you can see them almost at all times.
