I was at City Park for Celebration in the Oaks last night and saw maybe a handful of masks all night. It was sold out so tons of people. I went to 2 gas stations in NO today and didn’t see any masks.

Can’t you just not wear your mask and shut the frick up? If they want to do it, let em. How mentally fragile do you have to be to get so upended by the decisions of others that you come waste our time? Sensitive conservatives are just the same as sensitive “libs”.

Personally, I hope many wear masks forever. I find it pretty amusing.

Some of you are as obsessed with being anti Covid as they are with actual Covid. Can’t we see how it’s the same thing but the other way?

How about this: if we want to get more normal, anti-covid people need to start by stopping thinking about how harmed you are 24/7.

I wish could go back to the OT being useless, entertaining posts.

The truth that most of NOLA doesn’t mask outdoors is so mundane.

Except it isn’t. One group gave into the constant fear mongering and adopted the meaningless mask of submission. Then wanted to force everyone else into their little cult, and exclude anyone who didn’t March lockstep with the (constantly shifting) party line.

They wanted people who didn’t comply with their pointless measures to lose their livelihoods, their businesses, their rights.

It wasn’t “please do this.”

It was “obey our every command or have your life destroyed.”

You want life under a jackboot to be the new normal.
After all, it’s just two weeks.

Hidden smiles

They want to hide our smiles,
They want to cull our voice,
Pretend it’s for our benefit,
As if we had a choice,

They Dress it up as public health,
To ensure our compliance,
And those who dare to question,
Are painted with defiance,

It’s not about a virus,
It’s all about the boot,
They’re pressing down upon our necks,
To make our voices mute,

It’s not a germ a mask will stop,
It’s all about control,
If they can make us bend the knee,
‘Fore long they’ll have our soul,

They pressure those who chafe it,
By preying on the meek,
How long until we wake up,
After all,
It’s just two weeks.

Take your boosters and give them to your kids even though there is no reason to.

We've got to start living our lives and tell the powers that be to go frick themselves. This control they have over us isn't gonna change until we do.

So weird that you have nothing better to do during the holidays than make this shite up for a message board.
