I can probably do about 30 regular pullups without a break and those are way easier

The drug use on the mens side is very apparent.
I think it is heavily tested and the punishments are severe. The athlete can lose their license to run their gyms.
Lolz. Most athletes at the Games are using PEDs

The doping policies talk big but I have a hard time believing Crossfit is flying all over the country randomly testing its athletes. I could buy competition testing but thats easy to beat.
After seeing some of the guys and girls this year, I have no doubt that drugs use is alive and well in Crossfit. I am not some steroid hater. I've worked out for 10+ years. If people want to use them then I am all for it. I just think people need to realize that these bodies weren't built on WODs.

Yeah they're easier but they're not THAT much easier. 100 is a lot. If you can 30 no shite strict pullups, all the way up and all the way down, then you can probably do 50 or so kipping. And that would require some practice on the form.

So how do you go about doing this? After the run. You break the pullups into sets until you get to 100 resting as little as possible the proceed to pushups and squats of do pullups to failue, pushups to failure, and squats to failure and start over till you get to the prescribed number of reps of each or does it matter?
In the Games, they had to complete each movement before moving onto the next one. Most people will break up the 3 movements into more manageable increments, the most common is - 20 rounds: 5 pullups, 10 pushups, 15 air squats.

So the guy in that video knows going into the pull-ups that he is going to rip his hands up but he does it anyway, and doesn't wear gloves? I just don't get it

that was more a criticism of the games, not Crossfit as a whole
exactly. Most are not going as hard as those athletes when they complete a wod.

you can break Murph up
most do 20 sets of 5 pullups, 10 pushups, 15 squats
which sounds easy on paper, but is brutal if you are going fast and have a weighted vest

because the most arent on PEDs and dont have the necessary training to go that hard. rather they go hard for them...which still results in injury.

Physical Therapists everywhere rejoice every time someone joins crossfit.

All I'm saying is give it a try if you think you can do it
I don't know you so I'm not going to weigh in on if you can or can't.
I know in wrestling we did a lot of pull-ups and the most unbroken wide grip pull-ups I have ever done is 32. I was 18 and in way better shape than most people on the OT even claim to be so to triple that, no matter the form, is pretty impressive.

Froning and Ben Smith are not PED users. You're smearing people with no evidence.

Most of the athletes at the games are on PEDs.
Moreover, crossfit has no interest in catching athletes at the games using PEDs. If they do, the absence and removal of those athletes from their televised event will remove yet another everyman-can-do-it and integrity rung from their marketing ladder.
I'd argue the "test" is easily beaten, or even ignored if positive for monetary reasons.

Yeah, we did Half Murph yesterday as a chipper workout where you couldn't move onto the next movement until you finished all of the current movements.
It added about 5 minutes to my time.
Doing a full chipper Murph with a weighted vest outside would have been brutal.

I must have you mixed up with someone. I thought you had posted a recent picture on a boat with a fish. Was that you or am I thinking of someone else?
