During which period did culture and technology change more? I say culture is 1938-1980, but technology 1980-present.

I'm 50. The closer I get, the younger it looks.

I remember 1980. A lot fewer people, pretty much just white and black folk. Gays were in the closet mostly. Not as much television options or internet. People spent more time outdoors. Less political fighting amongst the general public. Etc

I'm trying to avoid having a mid life crisis. Why would you post this. I'm dangerously close to these numbers.

In the 1980's, the classic radio stations played Monster Mash and Jan and Dean. No radio stations play those anymore. I grew up thinking those would always be called "classics"!

I miss 1980.

Simpler times.

Didnt give a shite about politics, the news, or having bills.

I was 8-9 and a good Friday night was having a friend sleep over, gettin some Burger King, playin Atari, throwing the Nerf football around, and watchin them Duke boys makin a fool outta Sheriff Roscoe and Boss Hogg

If The original Back to the Future took place today, Marty would be going back to 1992.

We had Ronald Regan, a real leader. America was still a pretty good place, and not loony like today.

Me too. And I don’t feel old. I’m still sexy and fit, just with less hair.
