She should have asked Edwin Edwards, Bill and Betty Jefferson, Ray Nagin and Oliver Thomas if it was worth it

I'm surprised they never got Mitch the bitch. I'm guessing he was a little more political savvy and able to plausibly skate.

You can’t tell people like Teedy anything.

If she goes to the pen, she’d better find the best source in there for raisin jack, because otherwise, the cocktail hour is over.

I’m surprised too. He had too much political pull plus taking down those statues and starting a movement probably saved his arse

I have to say Vappie has good taste in representation. Hope Vap has compiled a mass of wealth because paying Rosenberg and Divorce Counsel would leave a rich man begging for change.

"He was billing the city while fricking latoya." --

Vappie be fightin' on 2 legal fronts: his divorce case and now a fed probe. So now he gotta pay top-dollar Harry Rosenberg in addition to his divorce lawyer. Wonder what the status of the divorce case is and if he has been taken to the cleaners there?

Do you even Jason Williams (our District Attorney)?! 'Cause that might be true in Boston, but NOLA is a world unto itself.
Jason Williams will have nothing to do with a Federal case.
You missed the point entirely: Jason Williams was himself put on trial as a criminal defendant in federal court and acquitted. See, e.g., WDSU.

I can’t. Other than say it involves a long term commitment for a local company.
:)
Someone I know is texting me this morning about it.
It might involve some “minor” new construction

Because the Landrieus are not nearly as stupid as Cantrell. Cantrell is basically retarded. If I were her defense attorney I’d try to use an IQ test as a defense.

The governor is expected to be in town for announcement and I’m assuming stupid Toya will be speaking.
Just know that it’s happening despite her and her leadership and not from any help she’s provided

They’re a smart and crooked family. He didn’t accomplish much, but everything he did accomplish benefited himself financially.

The south market district downtown bought up every parking lot downtown that wasn’t owned by his family. The head minority contractor for the new MSY was the father of his girlfriend.
