I loved this so much, but it made me sad. Our government endorsed this message just a short time ago. Now, we have Satanic idols up on public spaces, and Nativity scenes are ridiculed, and worse, blocked, from public spaces.
We are in a battle. A battle of minds. And it seems like the other side is winning. Our country seems to be embracing evil more and more. Dear Lord I pray that those who gravitate towards darkness will see Your light.

Yes, but not first "to" the Moon, allegedly
Apollo 8 orbited the Moon, December 1968, allegedly.
Apollo 10 orbited the Moon, allegedly, and tested the lunar module in lunar orbit in preparation for the Apollo 11 landing.

Yes. The secret ended up being speed. Reduce exposure time versus trying to add shielding.

The Van Allen Belts are narrow at the poles. You minimize exposure from earth past the exosphere by traveling through the donut holes at the poles caused by the magnetosphere.
