Sorry, this isn't the "best" call you've seen. This is not a hero call nor is it a "bluff catcher" as she at one point says. It's just a complete moron doing something insanely stupid which happens to win. It happens a gazillion times a day in poker all over the world. Play a 1/2 table and you see idiotic plays like this every hour.

The only thing that makes this sort of moronic play notable is the stakes. Normally people playing for hundreds of thousands of dollars are at least SOMEWHAT versed in odds and strategy. A lot of people are willing to throw away $100 doing something retarded in a pot but once you get up to 100K people usually take things seriously. That woman is either obscenely rich or being bank rolled by someone else.

She was under no obligation or expectation to give any money back or anything. Dumb plays occasionally winning is why poker even exists. It keeps bad players playing. It's easy to say that as a 3rd party and I'm sure the guy who lost the pot was steaming as that's just human nature.

Back in 2003-2007 people on the cash games would throw 800 grand on 6 high sometimes because they were retarded

In 100s actual bills on the table

This is nothing

That was him trying to process and reconcile the fact that a rank amateur just beat him with an idiotic call. It didn't compute, seeing as he cried about cheating and she took pity on him and gave him a refund. She should have kept the money and then twisted that knife in further every time she sees him.

She should have kept the money. Her Twitter is interesting with the dark hallway comment. Of course you can't take any of it at face value.

I would have taken the money back as well if she offered. No serious poker player wouldn't.

There’s nothing worse than playing with someone who doesn’t know what the frick they are doing, AND doesn’t care about money. She screams rich socialite being bankrolled by sugar daddy.

I dunno, the drunk a-hole that knows he is doing dumb shite but doesn't care and is doing it solely to infuriate everyone else at the table has always tilted me.

This x 1000

“My hand is probably a loser but I’ll just call and hope I get lucky. If not I’ll just buy in again.”

Actually those are the best people to play against. They lose way, way, way more than they win and their few wins are always temporary.

People just always vividly remember the times the stupid play made against them cost them pot but they don't remember as clearly the previous 10 pots they won off the fish.

Yep. Just kills all fun at the table when they’re 10xing preflop constantly . I hate that shite

Yeah but this type of thing is usually a home-game type thing. This doesn’t really happen in a real setting.

What I expect to happen after this is for these tv shows to be exposed for it all being fake money. That is why she didn't care. It isn't real money. It is just for TV. And these days all people are thinking about is how many likes can I get for this next wild thing I'm about to do. And that is what she did.

That guy looks like a bitch. He's so used to playing against people that use odds, that it blows his mind when he plays an average joe just playing mind games.

I like how incredulous these guys are about her when their entire livelihood is based on gambling. a monkey could've called all 3 bets and ended up with the same result. was it smart? of course not.

but who won the hand? show the me the fruit

I don’t get it either. People are making a big deal saying she cheated? Hand was played cards were flipped, how is that cheating?
