Probably so. Definitely what it seemed like early on.

Thats the whole thing about poker

You dont have to have a reason to do anything

You dont have to do the same thing all the time

You can take the nerd book of poker rules and say frick it im raising this shite on Jack high until the end

neither did I. My first post on the topic explained ways she could have cheated and how suspicious the whole series of events looked, but we have to wait for the investigation to unfold.

Oh yea?

How else would you describe the poker bro overlord that just admitted poker is in fact a game of chance telling me I’m intellectually dishonest for leaving out the part of his post that told me to go gamble when I already said I don’t gamble?

in that he didn’t have anything. The more he pushed the more she thought he was bluffing.

But his bluff range beats her call range by a great deal. He basically had to have 1 of 2 combos (his hand and the same one in hearts) to have a bluff range that she could beat.

His actual bluff range was all Ax clubs, Kx clubs (more likely than Ac b/c he knows he doesn't have Ac and Ac is the most likely held bluff card) A lot of KQ suited (non hearts/clubs), some KQ off, QJ suited (non hearts/clubs) and, knowing Garrett, some QJ off.

Hell he's a wide guy, so KJ probably should get some conbos, too, esp KJh

its a game of chance and skill. I know you're pretty low iq but everything isn't binary

but he pushed on a middling draw.

There are 2 ways to make money in poker. Making your opponent fold their equity is one of those 2 ways.

Realizing your own equity is the other, which he had the option b/c pushing on a draw is only a semi-bluff.

you said it's all chance. Yet ignore that continually shoving 10% holdings will go broke 100% of the time

You can't always win a poker. Again, you seem to have problems with basic math.

Why do you keep broadcasting how stupid you are? Any game where there are professionals consistently winning means it’s not entirely a game of chance. This concept is really easy to understand.

Imperfect information.

If I offered to play a game with you where I would flip a coin. Every time it landed on heads, you pay me $10. Every time it landed on tails, I pay you $20.

Would you play the game?

So you’ve never played against somebody with a big stack that bets preflop with nothing against one other player …..and then follows with a standard half pot bet after the flop?

What about his play? He raises and she calls….representing something. He bets and she reraises…representing something. He then puts her all in on a draw hand. He had a ton of outs but why risk $100k when $20k gets you another card. That move screamed “I just want you to go away”.

Now granted, she needed something to make that call but he doesn’t know she has shite for cards.

Maybe he was cheating?

A couple facts to clear some things up:

The OT has clearly never played much poker.

Robbi is bankrolled by her BF who was also at that table playing.

6mo ago all of her poker play was done online in the buy in range of $100-$500.

After this hand, she did an interview and was stuttering and stumbling for a reason she made that call.

Innocent people don’t give money back at a casino. EVER. Especially when your bankrolling BF is playing in the same game. She wasn’t intimidated. She was scared shitless a huge investigation was about to be launched and she gave back the money to squash the whole issue.
