Houston is full capacity in hospitals and Lafayette had started diverting patients to other areas, at 85% capacity

Two American cities have some full hospitals!!!!!!!! HOLY shite!!!!
That isn’t a big deal. That happens sporadically across the country every single year . You were just never told to care

I agree, but the news cycle is starting to say hospitals are becoming overwhelmed at this point. CBS Radio at the top of the hour made it sound like it's armageddon out there. It's just really difficult to figure out who to believe right now.

No, they aren’t. The numbers get readjusted every day and there are still hundreds of beds available. Not to mention the phase 2 and 3 surge capacity that they haven’t even tapped into yet

I appreciate the work you are doing. I even steal your material. I got into a text fight with an anethesiologist and a family practice doctor a couple of days ago. I said the problem with Fauci is he is all over the map -- one day, kids can go back to school, the next we have to shelter in place for two years. "Recommendations change as more is learned about diseases...I don't think it's very hard to know what to think: we should listen to experts no matter how confusing their critics try to make things."

This may blow your mind but a government mandate and a union negotiation for the health of its members aren’t the same discussion.

This is no different than anyone else that has said something about COVID. The WHO, Fauci, trump, Clinton, Biden, etc. NOBODY has said anything correct about this so go ahead and take your trump bashing narrative and fly a kite.
