You can't complain about people changing jobs when you yourself don't offer a pension. Want a loyal employee? Then pay for his/her retirement after 25 years of service. If not then GTFO

My parents taught us to be twenty minutes early.
parents should have taught you that you ALWAYS shite on the clock when you can?

Do people no longer keep jobs longer than a few months? I just cannot believe that almost every application has a crazy long work history list where it shows that they only worked at a job for a few months, some only a few weeks, some even a few days There's one dude that had like 18 different jobs in a 3 year span

It's difficult to get a job with benefits. Most companies do their best to keep employees as temporary or part-time. I expect that has a lot to do with it.

Friend,

Your use of gifs to demonstrate a lack of faith in my writings is deeply, deeply concerning. A feeling, in which I have no doubt that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ felt when Thomas doubted him, that cuts to the soul.

It reminds me of the time I brought a lovely lady to meet mother for lunch. For some reason, it was her belief that a muffuletta should be served hot - so I brought mother to meet my friend at the Napoleon House.

Now you might know that the Napoleon house has a large presence in the history of not just our lovely city - New Orleans- but also in the final days of the Napoleanic empire. For that mother did oblige to the meeting.

While we sat down and ordered our sustenance mother was absconded with the fact that the Napoleon House serves their muffulettas warm. While Father would have used a term that started with a D to describe the lackluster effort of the chef to provide us with - what some would call a knock off- mother showed self control and mercifully took one bite out of the disgustingly warm sandwich. Regardless I knew mother was upset.

It’s wasn’t until we finished up with the shovels later that night in which I asked what was bothering her. To this day she still reminds me of the sacrilegious sand which I forced her to eat.

Peace and Love,
LSUTulane

What's the turnover like at your company? Do these installer type people usually stick around a long time?

Well, this is one of Tulane’s Alters

Brother,

There is only one alter at which the Son of God, Jesus Christ was sacrificed upon.

Yes, mother and I may also use the same alter to deliver a prostitute from her sin on a weekly basis but their blood does nothing to clean like the blood of our savior.

Peace and blessings,

This is bs. I’ve worked in restaurants and bars for the last 30 years. The only places that reward loyalty and hard work are places that are stand alone/ owner on the property type of establishments. Chains are run by boards of business degree holders with no service experience that see employees as independent contractors. They are financially rewarded for turnover. They don’t want to pay a dollar for federally required benefits. The sad thing is mom and pop type places can’t survive and all that will be left are soulless chains of dmv worthy slop houses.

The service industry in non tourism locations is dead.
