If I were a judge, I wouldn’t enforce the shite. I’d enforce the laws enacted by the legislature.

frick the CDC.

You see Jefferson Parish or St. Tammany enforcing this shite?

Those hundreds already became a few thousand and will become several thousands when the order expires. Landlords will get their check then, right? Including late fees.

In other news, The Capitol Police have decreed that the landlords will also pay the deadbeats electric bill, and bring them some Popeyes 3 times per week.

Time for landlords to check their insurance premiums are paid and to off the books hire the worst unlicensed electrician they can find. And don't forget to store some flammables near the gas water heater.

The government can only spend your money until it runs out, then they move on to the next guy.

Class action suits will run rampant for the next 5 years due to government handling of covid. This one will have legs.

Some landlords need to litigate this and appeal it through the system.

Yea it’s gonna blow when the landlords lose their rental property to the bank with no rent coming in and then the bank evicts the worthless tenants anyway

By the time it gets through the system, the banks are going to have foreclosed on everything.

What can I say about New Orleans that hasn't already been said about Detroit?

Latoya needs to go - New Orleans is a mess - although it has been for a while

Almost 40% of New Orleans rents

Rents are high - too high - a person has to make $22/hour to make the average rent in New Orleans - the average salary is $12/hour - this what happens when out of town ppl take over

It's hedge fund investors... Plenty are Chinese shell companies. America is the easiest country in the world to wash money.

Everyday someone writes something I think is the dumbest thing I’ve ever read, and then tomorrow comes and someone like you does it again.

The idiots here are constantly trying to one up each other. There are no winners, just so you know.

The str debacle really fricked rent up in this city. Out of town companies/individuals were buying investment properties with cash.

It still doesn’t mean people get to live rent free.

This is what happens when all eviction court judges are women. The truth hurts. They’re too emotional.

They want to force foreclosure so then government can purchase the properties from banks.

This is step one in their plan to bring section 8 to your neighborhood.

The landlords will qualify for the next batch of PPP loans... Bank doesn't have time to manage a bunch of foreclosed properties so Landlords will get their handout too because the loans will be forgiven.

Print dat money.
