What’s the chances of the Boeing Starliner crashing into it at 7:57am?

You would think there wouldn’t be any glass left in it with all the art pieces made of “tower glass” floating around LC.

Lake Charles will go from the #3 skyline in the state behind New Orleans and Shreveport/Bossier to like 10th in 30 seconds.

I've seen boners more impressive than that skyline.

Hope the I-10 bridge doesn’t collapse with it.

the owners were trying to extort the insurance company for damages to make out like bandits

The owners are struggling. They have buildings all over the country, including NOLA, Shreveport, Jackson, Birmingham. Even in cities with full occupancy, they often aren’t paying utilities or insurance premiums.

They are constantly moving money around to try to cover their losses. They hoped for a big insurance payout in Lake Charles to cover their losses in other markets.

Really a shame - pretty building. I ate at the restaurant on the top floor back in '90s - worked at the Lake Charles NWS office.

Yep. They own the Regions Tower in downtown Shreveport and they quit paying the electric bill and water bill. Swepco almost cut the power off before the lending company stepped in and paid the bill to keep the lights on.

Sorry to digress, family always stops at Steamboat Bill's off I-10 for the crawfish/shrimp pistolettes.
