What’s your point? I don’t like Trump and he is worthy of derision. Every president is the subject of parody and satire. My opinion on Trump is he is a clown. I don’t hate anyone for voting for him. You’re all Americans and you all have a say. To say that Trump shouldn’t be the subject of satire is precisely the damn problem.

There's still time, but he now currently worships at the altar of the new orthodoxy. Perhaps his sins have been forgiven.

Because Stern doesn't give a frick, and the SJW police know it.

The SJWs only go after people they think they can intimidate and/or shut down.

But Fallon isn’t out there advocating for women’s rights or equality or Medicare for all or any of the liberal hot button issues that seem to trigger this Board’s gird. He basically just wants to talk to celebrities and be goofy as hell. The fact that people on this Board think he is one of “them” is indicative of two things: (i) a lot of you are fricking stupid and (ii) y’all are part of the problem in this society with this us vs them mentality.

How dare you come on this message board and post an intelligent, rational, true comment. Just who do you think you are?

Not so stupid when others are practicing what he preached...now if we can find a skit with Kimmel in black face

Because Stern embraces shite like that. Says “bring it on”. They know going after him just gives him more power.

He was never very political pre-backlash for having Trump on his show and making Trump appear human by rubbing his hair. He's dipped his toes in the political waters a few times since then just to avoid similar backlash from the SJWs.

Robert Downey Jr. survived somehow. Why is it offensive if someone wears blackface in an entertainment scenario? It's just dress up and not intended to be racist.

Think Seinfeld said it best.

You can make a joke about cancer, but it better be funny.

As long as people doing the blackface bit are funny then they can get away with it. A politician doing blackface at a closed door party isn't funny.

How exactly does a few hundred people posting this hashtag have any consequence on the world?

When will people realize that something "trending" on twitter for 18 hours is not representative of the world?

frick these self righteous pricks and the networks that bow to them.

Did Fallon write the sketch?

I mean, someone had to write the sketch, Lorne had to approve the sketch, a makeup artist had to do this for the sketch and Fallon, as the performer, was simply doing his job in performing the sketch.

Chris Rock wasn't offended, so I don't see why anyone has to be reprimanded for this; but if anyone should, it shouldn't be the actor. The writer and Lorne should take the heat over Fallon

100% the problem. Trending on Twitter has become newsworthy. How is a handful of douche bags shouting at the screen newsworthy? And it isn’t just the NY Post doing it. The fricking NYT and WaPo do it, too. And then it trends harder. It’s why Russian bots are so fricking effective.

Exactly. Somebody spouting off some bullshite with 600 or even 6k little hearts next to isn’t indicative of society. It’s just people thinking alike in an arena that caters to that.

I’m still surprised that Howard Stern has gotten a pass for his 1994 New Years Eve blackface skit he did about Ted Danson and Whoopi Goldberg. Stern was dropping n-bombs with a hard ER and he’s never been SJW’d for it.

I could be wrong, but I think it's because he has a cult following that isn't going away. So even if he was outed by someone over this, he wouldn't lose viewers/listeners, etc. Whereas the outrage by the viewers of NBC or ABC would cost the networks money, so those people get fired.

He still gets shite on for it. He did an interview on Rogan and they discussed it. But he laughed at the scorn he gets because the whole damn point of it was to show how tone deaf Hollywood is and how actors are willing to go so far as to do shite like blackface to win awards.

But to the media, it is. Because it's the society they exist in.
