The Brits are good at some stuff, lousy at others.

I caused the Brexit, y'all. I was in England for a week. Just got back home late last night after 20+ hours of travel and learned the result.
Anyway, here are my impressions.
Stuff the British do well:
- mass transit (might be the thing they do best)
- pubs and beer (love the cask ales)
- parks
- preserving and promoting history
Stuff the British suck at:
- restrained government (high taxes/bureaucracy/welfare state)
- restaurant table service
- personal grooming (women especially)
- dentistry

I seriously do not understand why the Brits still turn a blind eye to dentistry. Baffles the mind.

I'll add to this.
Things they do well:
-Pressing on in the face of adversity with a "no big deal" mentality
Things they don't do well:
-Spicing up their food (unless it's Indian or some other ethic fare)

Nah, they have bad teeth because they don't care, not because there are no orthodontists. Keira Knightley is beautiful, a movie star, and the face of Chanel, and she has terrible teeth. They just don't care.
