Shaming people and publicly castigating them simply for holding another belief that is not even remotely racial by any stretch, but simply because it differs from their own is the height of bigotry and extremely intolerant of anyone who dares to call themself an American

It's an insidious form of gaslighting. "Dont believe the things you see and if you say something about it, you will be ruined". And the abuser is somehow the hero in these cases

He should have just lied to the journalist instead of being an honorable man because a career criminal was killed.

If im Brees, im not donating another cent and would ride off into the sunset with my family once my contract ends.

You don’t go to a funeral of a friend of yours who just killed himself and make comments about how selfish suicide is. Funeral is a time for compassion. It is not the time and place to throw gas on a fire. That is what Brees missed with his comments yesterday and why he apologized today.

What a gay arse saying. Maybe people should accept that not everybody has the same opinion and beliefs as you without brow beating? What a piece of shite society and culture we live in where if you have a differing opinion than someone, your entire life has to be snuffed out.

Brees clearly had zero awareness to the current Climate and how his quote would be received by his teammates.. That’s why he apologized.

tone deaf is a good description.

Just sent my friend a text about this. The liberals and media seem to have already forgotten that the riots and BLM movement in 2016 contributed to Trump's election.

But Drew was not asked about Floyd, he was asked about HIS opinion of the PLAYERS reaction FOLLOWING the event. Not the event.

He responded by giving HIS opinion on KNEELING FOR THE ANTHEM> He did not give a response about Floyd or George.

Part of the new prog lexicon to minimize dissent from the narrative. Basically you're not allowed to have an opinion unless its approved.

That's a bit of a stretch. The guy said he didn't like seeing the flag of his country disrespected, which should make everyone living in the USA proud, he didn't say "i can't believe all these black people keep resisting arrest and getting killed."

How about direct your anger and that of your brethren to the democratic governor of the state, which has the city run by a democratic mayor, which has a board made up of 100% democrats who appointed the police chief who happens to be, hold on to your shorts, a democrat, for this tragedy instead of a guy who has nothing to do with what police do in MN? Crazy thought.
