I don’t know who he is other than he’s doing the half time show and I definitely have never heard anything by him (although that’s true for pretty much 100% of music out nowadays) but I don’t get why Im supposed to be upset by him. Because hes Latino I guess?

As far as his music's overall popularity goes, he is undeniably in the same company as them. Maybe not in America, but worldwide. And the Super Bowl is a worldwide event.
