Horsepower has never been RR's gig. For many years the specification for horsepower and torque were simply the word "adequate".

No but you could probably buy a gas powered a couple years ago for around half of that. 300k increase in 3 years
People who are spending 300k plus on a car probably aren’t worried about spending 600k a few years later but I’m not seeing it.

The Spectre starts at ~$425k which is about $25k more than a Ghost and $75k less than a Phantom. For reference, the Phantom has gone up $35k in the last 3 years. Part of the issue is the price is listed in Canadian dollars and as tested. With RR it is easy to add $100k in options or a couple of million if you go completely bespoke.

I can't speak to the Spectre because it is a bit of an unknown quantity but you will have a hard time finding someone that will argue RR doesn't build cars to a higher standard than anyone else. Probably the closest is Bentley and there is a fairly large gap between them and RR.
