That’s why Southern Baptists will pretty much be the only peeps raptured up when Jesus returns. We stayed with true Christian doctrine while others were led astray.

The conquistadors came behind them and strung up their descendants to burn them alive, flay them alive, feed them to the dogs alive, etc…not much of a difference if you ask me.

When children began being diagnosed as add/adhd at record levels because parents and teachers thought the were too important and busy to actually figure out constructive ways to keep those kids stimulated. Instead they'd rather suppress the children's emotions and imaginations by saying " here take this pill".
So I'd guess when parents gave complete strangers unwavering trust under the guise of medicine to know better for their children than they do. We are seeing now it's hard to put that control back in the bag. Now everyone seems to think they know better for our children than we do. We continuously gave more and more power away knowing it wasn't a good idea but convenient all the while expecting those folks not to incentivize it in some way and eventually use the power to manipulate the adults. We saw it coming and still continued to give away. Textbook mental illness.

"Mothers little helpers" goes back to the 50's. People are always looking for a magic pill to make them more normal, which should be abnormal.

Now do all the murders in the “streets” by people with no morals. I’ll wait.
you think that none of the people shooting people in the street are religious. there are plenty of VERY religious people in jail for murder.

Texas Senate Bill 1515 would require Texas public schools to display the Ten Commandments. AUSTIN, Texas -- Public schools in Texas would have to prominently display the Ten Commandments in every classroom starting next school year under a bill the Texas Senate approved Thursday
but I guess your indoctrination is the good kind?

It’s more that they consider their positions to be the default. It’s not indoctrination, special treatment, etc, if one frames it mentally as axiomatically “the way it should be”. It’s also how they manage to claim persecution with a straight face anytime their beliefs no longer get pride of place.

I don't see an issue with addressing true mental illness. If anything depression, anxiety, etc is something we as a society should be comfortable talking about and working on.

I am not sure how you could be Christian and not think your sect is the only one and true Christian faith.
I put no stock in religion. By the word religion I have seen the lunacy of fanatics of every denomination be called the will of god.

Indeed it is. We put In God We Trust on the dollar bill. If you don’t like it, give me yours.
