Seeing many gas stations with either very short or no lines. I don't think you baws need to drive to Lafayette anymore.

Broussard was crazy yesterday. Everyone must have run out of gas at the same time. I have a feeling that until power is restored gas shortages will come in waves.

Maybe because they have those little yellow plastic bags covering the pumps?

They must have diverted some going from Lafayette to BR. The wife went to three gas stations before she found one with gas this morning.

Everywhere I’ve seen with only a couple cars at pumps are places that are out of gas and people are just parked there and inside the store.

You sure it’s not just that they’re out of gas?

Their loading rack at the fuel terminal is running. Not enough power to fully start up yet

The station by my house in Prairieville had line when they were waiting for the truck to arrive. Today there was no line. I talked to the owner and she said that the refinaries are allocating the fuel and didn't know when they would get another truck.
I have a feeling with is going to start happening at more gas stations.

I thought similarly today. I would see one station with a 20 car line, then 2 blocks away was a station with only 2 cars in line. Some people see a line and think they have to jump in it. Saw several more stations with full parking lots, but no line and plenty of gas.

Best stop 25 in French settlement is the best so far. Only have line half the time, sheriff department keeps everyone in line. With 15 pumps it moves pretty quickly

What I noticed yesterday in BR too. At least half the stations I drove past had gas, and lines significantly varied from a few cars to 50-100. Don't jump in the first line you see.

Someone found enough trucks. Tanks farms have plenty. Panic buying soared like a mofo.

Exxon cancelled a planned turnaround as well.
