If you know what I'm talking about, good.

If not.... long story short, OT helps catch a thief. (It was much better than that but not trying to get inti that here).
OP comes back and says authorities asked for the thread to be deleted. Admins complied.

What would have been the risk to TD if they just let the thread? Trying to understand the potential legal ramifications here.

Probably don't want anyone else messing with the accused/defendant or getting involved in the case.

It's the right move.

Guy needs to go to jail.
