The amount of stuff people are allowed to carry on planes is absurd

You do realize for the people that only carry on it saves time, money, and airline/airport staff if they only allowed carry on right? It's easier to have customers hold onto their luggage then to load it on and off the plane.

I saw a lady at the gate counter for my commercial flight with a gd parakeet the other day.

Follow my advice and fly your private jet. You get to eat real food with real utensils. The stewardess will be good-looking, will flirt with you and the pilots will give you an understanding nod and smile when they close the cabin door to give you some privacy with her.

If you fly commercial to "save a little money" then I have no sympathy for you.
