You know she got all jealous when she saw the lobbies for the superintendents' offices at West Point and Annapolis, and suddenly just had to make this completely justified expenditure.

That's probably a great deal for a military branch that will pay $436 for a hammer.

Of all of the things we waste money on, this is low on my concern list.

It is a nice looking office though. That rug really ties the room together, dude.

Jesus, I don't want to spend over $165 p/sqf on a house.

Granted I know nothing of commercial real estate. But I do know the govt pisses away money.

I'm partial to the naugahyde chairs. Cuz no office is a truly legit military office until you see some skinned nauga's laying around

That's like Louisiana's LED. They spent so much money making the bigwigs' offices swank in their new location that there's not enough money left now to move the rest of the employees out of the Capitol Annex and into the same building

I want a government project. I could fix the air forces appliances for $2500 each.

I would throw in all the parts and cover the taxes.

The OP hates the military since he wants to cut their budget. You cut their budget and it puts them in harms way.

They will get investigated at some point. I seen base commander spent 75k to upgrade his office. His desk was 25k. It happen in Misawa back in 1990s. Next wing CC came in built a indoor underground pool at his base house. They do have funds to upgrade but not 397k.
