The truth is that the COA, BREC and the Library System have very little oversight and kind of do what they want.
They have their own revenue stream, and our elected officials seem to ignore them and just let them do their thing.
I know they all have boards that oversee their directors, but these boards aren't elected as the school board is and the directors don't seem to do much.
